A little bit
The International Foundation for the Independence of Girls with Disabilities (IFIGD) is a non-governmental, non-political, non-religious organization that was founded as a Sister Organization to "Minoo Foundation" in 2017, with the goal of Empowerment and Independence through Education and Vocational Training for Girls and Women with Disabilities.
Today IFIGD has grown to not only support Minoo Foundation, but to also help other Charities and Foundations around the world who share the same Vision and Purpose.
At IFIGD we aim to create a Sense of Purpose, Confidence and Empowerment for Girls with Disability who have been marginalized and feel they're Socially Ostracized.
IFIGD, The International Foundation for the Independence of Girls with Disabilities is publicly supported through donations. The Donations are from individuals, charitable foundations and businesses that recognize the work that need to be done, in order to provide the necessary Vocational Training, Talent Assessment, Career Guidance and Job Placement Services that will inevitably lead to Self-Esteem and Empowerment with an end-result of Independence for Girls and Women with Disabilities.
The Donors also recognize that their donations, beyond its philanthropic fulfillment and contribution to a healthier society, it also contributes to establishing a meaningful and valuable workforce development for businesses.
We believe all women with disabilities can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.
At the IFIGD, we believe that all Girls and Women with Disabilities have the right to reach their fullest potential, and we are committed to help and empower them by providing them with the proper training and education.
At IFIGD we aim to create a Sense of Purpose, Confidence, Self-Esteem and Empowerment for Girls and Women with Disability in deprived part of the world who have been marginalized in the society and inevitably feel they're Socially Ostracized.
We strive for a world where no girl is marginalized because of her disability. Ultimately, we hope that all girls have access to equal shelter, jobs, and health services.
